Infrared IR720nm and/or full-spectrum conversion service for DSRL or mirror-less Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm digital APSC or Full-frame cameras

€195.00

Infrared IR720nm and/or full-spectrum conversion service for DSRL or mirror-less Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm digital APSC or Full-frame cameras.

I am offering this service for all people having a Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm digital APSC or full-frame camera which deserve a new life, as an Infrared or full-spectrum camera.

If your camera isn’t worth much when reselled or you are interested in infrared photography and you don’t want to buy other equipment, why not sending it to me, to be converted and able to give you many more spectacular photographs?

These models are subject of IR or full-spectrum conversion:

Canon 350D / 400D / 450D / 500D / 550D / 600D / 650D / 700D / 750D / 760D / 1000D / 1100D / 1200D / 1300D / 100D.

Canon 40D / 50D / 60D / 70D / 80D.

Canon 5D Mark I, Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 5Ds.

Canon M mirror-less series. Please ask for other models.

Canon R mirror-less camera models: Canon R/Ra, RP, R5, R6.

Nikon D40 / D50 / D60 / D70 & D70s / D80 / D90 / D100 / D200 / D300 & D300s / D700 / D800 / D850.

Nikon D3000 / D3100 / D 3200 / D3300 / D3400 / D3500.

Nikon D5000 / D5100 / D5200 / D5300 / D5500 / D5600.

Nikon D7000 / D7100 / D7200 / D7500.

Nikon 1 J & V mirror-less series. Please ask for other models.

Sony mirror-less camera models full-frame: Sony A7, A7MKII, A7MKII, A7R, A7RMKII, A7RMKIII, A7RMKIV.

Sony mirror-less camera models APS-C: Sony A5100, A6000, A6100, A6300, A6500.

Fujifilm X mirror-less models: Fujifilm X-E1/2/3, X-T1 / 2 / 3 / 4.

For other camera models or other details please ask.

For conversion I need the camera body and a battery. No lens, neck strap, memory card, papers etc.

The conversion will take 2-3 days. Delivery time for European Union is around 5-6 days. For USA, Australia, Canada and other countries is 6-7 days, maybe more during the winter holidays / Easter, for example.

The first step of the conversion consist in replacing the internal anti-aliasing filters with an Infrared 720nm quality filter, R72 type.

The filter response is close to that of a Hoya R72, it is 50% transmissive at 700nm and 90% from 720 to over 1300nm. This will allow a small amount of deep red light (close to IR) to pass.

This filter is considered classic in infrared photography because being almost opaque is still transparent for some false colors and under good circumstances, bright sunny day with raw file editing we can obtain interesting warm false colors as well as contrast images similar to results from deep IR black and white filter. I think infrared photography is a long and exciting road to explore for aesthetic results.

The second step of the conversion consist in adjusting the AF camera autofocus system, because the new filter gives a new focus plane so the camera needs adjustment.

For this I use dedicated service tools and quality standard AF lenses as Canon EF 50mm F1.4 or Nikon AF-S 50mm F1.4 G.

After this conversion the camera will provide correct focus with other lenses as well.

With camera, I will provide a detailed points to follow to get best results for the first time using channel mixer. This way we can obtain stunning almost black and white or false color as in gallery.

I have experience with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm cameras conversion and I personally take pictures with each cameras I convert to be sure they are in perfect order.

Please ask if you have questions.
