The full-spectrum conversion opens the door to surreal foliage, dramatic skies, luminous skin tones, unusual color separation and striking monochrome infrared photographs. With suitable filters and post-processing, it can also produce false-color images inspired by the distinctive appearance of discontinued Kodak Ektachrome EIR infrared film, while offering far greater control over exposure, white balance and final color.
